Ink and light colors on paper, mounted as hanging scrolls. Autumn mountain landscapes with scholars at meditating or meeting. One inscription each, cyclically dated wuchen year (1868), signed: Li Kui, Doushan Laoren. Two artist's seals: Li Kui, Li Doushan.

Li Kui (1788-ca. 1878) from Xinhui of Guangdong Province, style name Doushan, was a well-known landscape painter of the Lingnan School in the Jiaqing and Daoguang periods. His painting was influenced by Shi Tao's style
